Information for Parents
Transitioning to SuperKidz

We understand that a child’s first day in a new environment is a big step for your child and you. Some children embark with confidence, while others take more time and need extra support. To ensure a smooth transition, and an opportunity to establish relationships and trust, we recommend you visit at least 6 times for under 2 children, and 4 times for over 2 children prior to your child’s start date.

Each child’s transition plan is individually designed to reflect their needs and their family’s wishes. Every family is paired with a Key Teacher who supports them throughout the transition and continues to lead their child’s care once they start. We believe that spending sufficient time together during this process is essential, helping children feel safe, secure, and confident as they settle into a new environment
Lunch Box

Parents need to prepare lunch box for their child that covers the three meals a day including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. We recommend parents to prepare lunch box with nutritious and wide variety of options with fresh fruits, vegetables, protein, and carbohydrate. We have microwave to heat up children’s lunch if needed. Young children will get support during mealtime. We encourage pre-schoolers to select and separate their food from their lunch box for their three meals, which is a part of their transition to school programme.
* Please note that we are a nuts free centre

Storypark
Each child has their own portfolio (scrapbook) where learning stories are written and kept. We encourage you and your child to take your portfolio home to enjoy with your family.
Storypark is an online portfolio app (designed specifically for Early Childhood Educators) where teachers document children’s learning. We will send you an invitation to Storypark. Once you have accepted you can invite other family members to privately see what your child is getting up to at SuperKidz.
